Sandpiper Class Information

The Alvechurch Sandpiper is a 63ft long, 6 berth semi-traditional narrowboat. It has a quiet water-cooled diesel engine with simple to use controls.

There is full radiator central heating on the boat. A 200 gallon water tank supplies the hot and cold running water. There is a double-filtered drinking water system. There is carpeting in the saloon and bedrooms.

4 Speaker Radio/CD player; colour TV/DVD player.

Wider beds. As this is a 6 berth boat, there is a choice of a double berth or two singles in both the centre and rear cabins. All permanent beds have interior sprung mattresses. An optional dinette/double is available saloon area. TV in each cabin.

Freshly laundered bedding is supplied for each crew member, as per your requirements. Additional bedding is available upon request. Towels are also supplied - one medium sized towel per crew member, and one hand towel per bathroom.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has a 4 burner gas cooker with grill and oven; refrigerator; sink and drainer; saucepans; cooking utensils; crockery and cutlery appropriate for the number of berths. There is plenty of storage space and work surfaces. Also supplied are a microwave; toaster and Cafetiere

There are two bathrooms, each with a wash hand basin, electrically operated flush toilet and a shower with bi-fold door and a 240v shaver socket. There is also a large mirror in the bathroom, Extractor fan.
