Kestrel Class Information

The Kestrel is a 49ft long, 4 berth cruiser stern narrowboat. It has a quiet water-cooled diesel engine with simple to use controls.

There is full radiator central heating on the boat. A 150 gallon water tank supplies the hot and cold running water. There is a double-filtered drinking water system. There is carpeting in the saloon and bedroom.

Radio/CD player; colour TV/DVD player.

As this is a 4 berth boat, there is a choice of a double berth or two singles in the rear cabin. An optional dinette/double or two single berths are available in the saloon. There are wardrobes located throughout the boat (see layout options) for storing clothes.

Freshly laundered bedding is supplied for each crew member, as per your requirements. Additional bedding is available upon request. Towels are also supplied - one medium sized towel per crew member, and one hand towel per bathroom.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has a 4 burner gas cooker with grill and oven; refrigerator; sink and drainer; saucepans; cooking utensils; crockery and cutlery appropriate for the number of berths. There is plenty of storage space and work surfaces.

The bathroom comes complete with a wash hand basin, electronically operated flush toilet, and a shower. A 240v shaver socket is also available.
