Grebe Class Information

The Alvechurch Grebe is a 47ft long, 4 berth cruiser stern narrowboat. It has a quiet water-cooled diesel engine with simple to use controls.

There is full radiator central heating on the boat. A 200 gallon water tank supplies the hot and cold running water. There is a double-filtered drinking water system. The flooring is easy clean vinyl.

Radio/CD player, colour TV/DVD player.

As this is a 4 berth boat, there is a choice of a double berth or two singles in the forward cabin, all of which have interior sprung mattresses. An optional dinette/double is available in the saloon.

Freshly laundered bedding is supplied for each crew member, as per your requirements. Additional bedding is available upon request. Towels are also supplied - one medium sized towel per crew member, and one hand towel per bathroom.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has a 4 burner gas cooker with grill and oven; refrigerator; sink and drainer; saucepans; cooking utensils; crockery and cutlery appropriate for the number of berths. There is plenty of storage space and work surfaces. Also supplied are a microwave; toaster and Cafetiere

The bathroom comes complete with a wash hand basin, electronically operated flush toilet, and a hip bath/shower. A 240v shaver socket is also available.
